DEAR NEIGHBOR,

I am grateful. Eighteen years ago, I came to you asking for your confidence and trust in electing me as your local District Judge. I told you that I would hold those who commit crimes accountable, that violence against our seniors and homes would be addressed with swift justice, and that I would build partnerships with our schools to educate our kids about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.

I have presided over thousands of cases and have adhered to the principles of fairness, justice, and integrity in the law. While those who commit crimes must be sentenced accordingly to protect your safety, I am also uplifted by the opportunity to help countless individuals with court-ordered treatment for addictions to drugs and alcohol.

Thank you for giving me the extraordinary opportunity to serve in a position that has given me great fulfillment. Please know that I remain dedicated to the law and committed to maintaining high ethical standards in your courtroom. I ask for your support again as I seek reelection to the 48th District Court.

Chief Judge – 48th District Court

“Thank you again for your wisdom and foresight to know the right thing to do and having the courage to do it. You set a great example for what judges can do to change lives for the better.”
